Sam the horseman is heading north

Sam Alexander, a medical student from Gippsland Victoria, set off on the 25th of Feb this year to make a solo 5,330km horseback journey across the Bicentennial National Trail of Australia.

Along the way he is visiting schools and communities to talk to people and highlight the importance of medical care in rural Australia.

Sam the HorsemanSam’s making regular updates on his website and facebook page and you can track Sam’s journey online.

He’ll be in QLD in mid September so if you are anywhere near the trail and want Sam to stop in your local community or you can join him for a bit of the journey, contact him through his website and meet an amazing guy.
